We both have always dreamt of being a father one day. Even as a teenager, Justin often babysat for his cousins and taught his nieces and nephews math and poetry. Steven also enjoys seeing cousin's and friends' kids and keeping them entertained.  He is the most gentle and sweetest person to kids, and he can spoil them with healthy snacks, toys, and video games. 

We are both in our late thirties, and the desire to have our own kids has grown stronger every day. Experiencing the pain of losing close family members during COVID and seeing parents getting older and older makes us desire that even more. We hope our parents will be able to spend more quality time with their grandchild(ren) in the next 5-10 years. 

In 2021, we signed on with Circle and Boston IVF and started our journey. Through them, we were matched with an amazing Egg Donor and a dedicated Gestational Carrier and have attempted two FET cycles. On December 12, 2023, we and our carrier were beyond devastated to know our pregnancy ended prematurely. As a result of this, unfortunately, our match broke and we now need to match with a new surrogate. To this day, we are still very grateful to our previous carrier for her commitment, dedication, and sacrifices!

The disappointing outcome of our previous transfers does not make us second guess our decisions. On the contrary, we firmly believe that we will bring a perfect child to this world one day! More than ever, we are clear about what we are hoping for from the next chapter of our journey – an authentic and strong relationship built on open communication, transparency, honesty, and trust. 

In a perfect world, we would be blessed with a kid or two. We will be busy feeding the babies and changing diapers in a year or two. There will be many sleepless nights, but we will get help from our parents, who cannot wait to meet the babies. In no time, the kids will be running around the house, shouting daddy and papa. They will have a happy and carefree childhood, like what we did growing up. We will teach them to read, draw, and sing. We will also teach them good manners and politeness. They will have a lot of books and toys, to share with friends. There will be birthday parties, road trips, beach days, and movie nights. It will be okay if they don’t get perfect grades, and we will teach them to love nature and life, be curious, and discover.
